Daily Confession of Sins
The traditional English text, as prayed in the Prosfora daily prayer rule. It is part of the evening prayer rule in Prosfora (included from the 5-minute rule).
O Lord our God, whatsoever I have sinned this day in word, deed, and thought, forgive me, for Thou art good and lovest mankind. Grant me peaceful and undisturbed sleep. Send Thy Guardian Angel to protect and keep me from every evil.
For Thou art the Guardian of our souls and bodies, and unto Thee do we send up glory: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Prosfora assembles your morning and evening prayers in 5, 10 or 20 minutes and walks you through them one prayer at a time. Pray in your browser or install the Android app.
