Before a Journey
The traditional English text, as prayed in the Prosfora daily prayer rule. It is in the “For Every Need” section of the Prosfora prayer book.
O Lord Jesus Christ our God, the true and living Way, Who didst journey with Thy servant Joseph: journey also with us, Thy servants. Bless our travels, deliver us from every danger, and bring us in peace to our destination and, at the last, to Thy eternal Kingdom. Amen.
Pray the whole rule
