The traditional English text, as prayed in the Prosfora daily prayer rule. It is in the “For Every Need” section of the Prosfora prayer book.
O most merciful Lord, send down upon me the grace of Thy Holy Spirit, granting understanding to my mind and strength to my hands, that attending to what is set before me, I may grow unto the glory of Thy name, the comfort of my family, and the good of Thy Church. For Thou art the Giver of wisdom, and unto Thee do I send up glory: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen.
